Representatives from the Youth Department promote Vacation Bible School
Summertime signals it is time for Vacation Bible School. Representatives from the Youth Department presented a sketch during Sunday morning worship service that featured a reporter asking the question, “What does Vacation Bible School mean to you? in an effort to encourage members to register and to get other family and friends involved in VBS.
This year’s theme was Mega Sports Camp featuring Bible lessons and instruction in volleyball, basketball, backgammon, Zumba and a host of other games. Campers who pre-registered were given a free shirt. Meals were also provided. Vacation Bible School was held July 14-16 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the campus of First Missionary Baptist Church. The event culminated with Family Night on Thursday, July 16.
